Thanks!

Just want to take the opportunity to say thank you to a youth group that worked with The Journey this week. This group is from Holden, Missouri and traveled to Greenville, SC to take part in Power Plant a week to expose youth to church planting.

This week these guys passed out over 1,000 fliers to apartments and subdivisions informing the community of upcoming events. They also helped Lighthouse Ministries (a ministry to downtown Greenville) move into their new office space. They even cleaned out the children's area for another church (and I mean clean it out). That was what they did during the day. At night they had two watermelon socials at apartment complexes (the rain did not help much - but we needed the rain) and had a Kid's Club another day. I think they had a busy and very productive week!

I was impressed with this group of teenagers (and their leaders) because no matter rain or shine, they did not complain. Everyone was so impressed with how quickly they got to work and did not rest until it was finished. This is a great group and we were very fortunate to have been able to spend some time with them. Pray for them as the travel home for the next two days.
