New Medication

You might be wondering where I have been lately. Truth is that I have just not felt much like posting. In fact, I have not felt much like doing anything. A couple of weeks ago I started some new medication for my MS. It is called Rebif and is a shot that I give myself three times a week. The side effect is that it leaves me feeling drained of energy. I do not care for that much, but the side effects are supposed to lessen over time. I wish this time would hurry up and pass.

I am hoping that I will be able to post more often after Christmas. Until then I appreciate your prayers and wish you all a very Merry Christmas!

Is It Worth It?

This is the time of year when I usually spend some time reflecting over the past twelve months. It seems like just yesterday when we were packing the Uhaul with all of our worldly possessions and moving to an apartment in Greenville, SC. We were coming with an idea to build a church that is totally focused on relationships.

You might wonder how it's going. Too be honest with you it is much more difficult, requires a lot more faith, and is a much slower process than I imagined. There are days that you don't understand what God is up to, other days when you wonder where all you "friends" went, and still more days where you just wonder, "Is it worth it?"

This is not a pitty party blog, it is an opportunity to share how good God is. "Is it worth it?" Definitely YES! Althuogh my mental movie has not played out the way I imagined, God has another movie playing. To be able to know that God is providing for our every need, to be able to watch my wife obediently follow God regardless of traditions, and to hear my daughters praying for their friends - "Is it worth it?" Again YES!

I have always said that God is more about the journey with you than your desired results. Our family has experienced that to it's fullest over the past couple of months. God is faithful and anything we do for Him, well, Yes It's Worth It All!!!
